DESCRIPTION: Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital is the largest city in West Africa and the former capital of the old Western Region. With the advent of urban renewal and the need to restore sanity back to the roads, it became expedient to construct modern bus terminals which would assist in seeing an organized transportation system.

This need gave rise to the construction of four (4) modern bus terminals in different locations; Challenge, Ojoo, Iwo road & Ife road, with state-of-the-art facilities. Some of the facilities include a world-class terminal building, ticketing booth, passengers’ waiting area, staff offices, a control room, restaurants, gatehouses, a water treatment plant, an ATM gallery, loading bay for buses etc.

The project has since been completed, delivered & commissioned in April 2022 by the Edo State governor; His Excellency, Mr Godwin Obaseki. It’s been put to use since then serving various routes within Oyo State and interstate routes.
